Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island after 1.00 p.m.
Showers or thundershowers will occur in Western and Southern provinces and in Puttalam district particularly along coastal areas during the morning too.Fairly heavy falls about (50-75) mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and North-central provinces and in Kurunegala, Vavuniya and Mullaitivu districts.Misty conditions can be expected at some places in North-central, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Eastern and Uva provinces during the morning.General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
